Several monuments are visible alongside the avenue and beyond: (from left to right) the 23rd Ohio Infantry; sticking up from the distance through the trees is the thin spire of the 9th New York Infantry; then a trio of monuments, the 48th Pennsylvania Infantry; Battery D, Pennsylvania Artillery; and the 51st Pennsylvania Infantry; and finally far to the right is the 28th Ohio Infantry.
